A photographic exhibition titled ‘Premajyothi’ – portraying the divine love of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Baba through value-based education, health care and varied service projects is on at the Palace Grounds.

The exhibition, which was opened last year by Sri Sathya Sai Baba himself and has already travelled across the various parts of the country, is divided into seven segments, namely:

  1. The effulgence of Pure love
  2. Radiance of Divine Compassion
  3. Pure Love as Selfless Concern
  4. Love Shining as the Sadguru
  5. The Matchless Glory of Pure Love
  6. Love setting examples through Selfless Service
  7. Pure Love is the Ultimate Protection

It opens with the birth of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and goes on to show his contribution towards the society.

When asked why the organisers thought of bringing the exhibition to Bangalore now and not earlier, Nagesh G. Dhakappa of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation said: “We wanted a big venue but could not find one last year. This time,we got the Palace Grounds, which we thought is the ideal venue for this exhibition.” Venue wasn’t the only problem, as we were told that the idea was to invite the Chief Minister for the inauguration here. “The CM is busy with some meetings, so couldn’t come,” said another member of the organisation. The exhibition was formally opened in the city recently by K H Muniyappa, Minister of State for Surface Transport.

These were also some of management problems, which did nothing to hamper those who follow and love the Baba unconditionally. The photographs (both black & white and coloured), showing Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s selfess service and divine compassion, are surely a treat for his fans. The idea, we were reminded, is convey to the visitors about the life, message and mission of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The exhibition is on till September 21.
