Why Is Barry Pittard Citing A Channeler & Medium Against Sathya Sai Baba?

Why Is Barry Pittard Citing A Channeler & Medium Against Sathya Sai Baba?

Barry Pittard (an ex-devotee who worshipped Sathya Sai Baba as God Incarnate for almost 30 years) has been widely promoting, citing and endorsing the Anti-Sai Activist Conny Larsson on Anti-Sai websites and on his Anti-Sai WordPress blog.

The widely dispersed core allegations against Sathya Sai Baba can be directly traced to two highly questionable characters in the Anti-Sai Movement, i.e., Conny Larsson and Tal Brooke. Although a separate article has been devoted to Tal Brooke, his religious fundamentalism, Christian extremism, experimentation with LSD and his defection from the Sai Movement due to an “out of body demonic encounter” (more than likely a drug-induced bad trip), this article will focus more on Bary Pittard and his psychic friend and co-conspirator Conny Larsson.

Within the last few years, Conny Larsson has developed from a vocal ex-devotee to an “internationally renowned” psychic trance medium for the spirit of Maharshi Vyasa (amusingly, a claim that Christian Tal Brooke would argue to be demonic and Satanic in nature). During Conny Larsson’s metamorphosis into a psychic channeler and spirit medium, Barry Pittard purposely suppressed and avoided all discussion of Conny Larsson’s psychic claims on his Anti-Sai blog and Anti-Sai articles (obviously fearing the repercussions that one of the founding members to the Anti-Sai Movement would be perceived to be a loon, charlatan and possible schizophrenic who hears “spirit voices” in his head).

Barry Pittard is the same man who trashed and bashed all of India as being universally “corrupt” and that hundreds of millions of Hindus (including other religions that believe in miracles) are “backward intellectually” “ignorant peasants” who believe in scriptures that are “sheer delusion” and “impossible concocted stories of the ‘Superman’ kind”.

Adding to the overwhelming hypocrisy of it all is the fact that Barry Pittard believes to this day (even after his defection from the Sai Movement) that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers (Ref)! Barry Pittard is also a strong advocate and contributor to the Nexus Magazine, a publication with strongly alleged Anti-Semitic ties. The Nexus Magazine is mostly devoted to suppressed archaeological discoveries, free-energy devices, CIA drug conspiracies, paranoia, mind-control technology conspiracies, prophecies, predictions, anomalous creatures, Government conspiracies, alternative health therapies, UFO’s, alien abductions, crop circles, ghosts, HIV/AIDS cures, secret societies, the unexplained and suppressed science.

Even more amusing is Barry Pittard’s ceaseless trashing and bashing of gurus, cults, psychics and New Age believers as being con-men, liars, frauds, “true believers”, “superstitious” and “brainwashed” (see Pittard’s WordPress article entitled “Isaac Tigrett. Wealthy Promoter of Superstition”). Don’t expect Barry Pittard to say one word about Psychic Conny Larsson, the “wealthy” multi-millionaire “promoter of superstition”.

Barry Pittard can often be seen siding with Indian rationalists, skeptics and atheists against Sathya Sai Baba. However, when it comes to Psychic Conny Larsson, Barry Pittard puts aside his pseudo-rationalistic, pseudo-skeptic and pseudo-scientific beliefs and openly praises, endorses and cites Psychic Conny Larsson as a man of integrity and honesty! This type of hilarious public posturing is dishonest and blatantly hypocritical. Needless to say, Barry Pittard is unable to make a sober or consistent argument against Sathya Sai Baba without shooting himself in the very same foot he so often sticks into his mouth.

Barry Pittard ceaselessly attempts to portray himself as an intelligent, scientific and rational individual even though his current friendship, association and Anti-Sai Activism with Psychic Trace Medium Conny Larsson speaks for him to the contrary.

These are the typical types of questionable characters who are attempting to smear, defame and ridicule Sathya Sai Baba. The truth is now out and there is no stopping it.

Why Is Robert Priddy Citing A Channeler & Medium Against Sathya Sai Baba?

Why Is Robert Priddy Citing A Channeler & Medium Against Sathya Sai Baba?

Robert Priddy (an ex-devotee who worshipped Sathya Sai Baba as God Incarnate for 17-26 years) has been widely promoting, citing and endorsing the Anti-Sai Activist Conny Larsson on his Anti-Sai websites and Anti-Sai WordPress blog (even as recently as October 14th 2008).

The widely dispersed core allegations against Sathya Sai Baba can be directly traced to two highly questionable characters in the Anti-Sai Movement, i.e., Conny Larsson and Tal Brooke. Although a separate article has been devoted to Tal Brooke, his religious fundamentalism, Christian extremism, experimentation with LSD and his defection from the Sai Movement due to an “out of body demonic encounter” (more than likely a drug-induced bad trip), this article will focus more on Robert Priddy and his psychic friend and co-conspirator Conny Larsson.

In Robert Priddy’s Pro-Sai Book Source Of The Dream, he talked several times about Conny Larsson and there is little doubt that Conny Larsson’s defection from the Sai Movement was the primary reason for his defection as well. Robert Priddy even attended a meeting at Stockholm Royal in Sweden and sat next to multi-millionaire Conny Larsson as a panelist member speaking against Sathya Sai Baba (Ref). Within the last few years, Conny Larsson has developed from a vocal ex-devotee to an “internationally renowned” psychic trance medium for the spirit of Maharshi Vyasa (amusingly, a claim that Christian Tal Brooke would argue to be demonic and Satanic in nature).

During Conny Larsson’s metamorphosis into a psychic channeler and spirit medium, Robert Priddy purposely suppressed and avoided all discussion of Conny Larsson’s psychic claims on his Anti-Sai websites (obviously fearing the repercussions that one of the founding members to the Anti-Sai Movement would be perceived to be a loon, charlatan and possible schizophrenic who hears “spirit voices” in his head). Even more amusing is Robert Priddy’s ceaseless trashing and bashing of psychics, channelers and mediums as con-men, liars, frauds, “true believers” and “absurd charlatans” belonging to the lunatic fringe seen in cults, ashrams and religious movements (see Priddy’s WordPress article entitled “SATHYA SAI BABA ‘CHANNELERS’ AND MEDIUMS”).

Robert Priddy can often be seen siding with Indian rationalists, skeptics and atheists and demands “scientific investigation” into Sathya Sai Baba’s purported miracles and world-wide manifestations. However, when it comes to Psychic Conny Larsson, Robert Priddy puts aside his pseudo-rationalistic, pseudo-skeptic and pseudo-scientific beliefs and openly praises, endorses and cites Psychic Conny Larsson as a man of integrity and honesty! This type of hilarious public posturing is dishonest and blatantly hypocritical. Needless to say, Robert Priddy is unable to make a sober or consistent argument against Sathya Sai Baba without shooting himself in the very same foot he so often sticks into his mouth.

Further adding to the overwhelming hypocrisy of it all, is the fact that Robert Priddy once professed belief in “elementals, elves, fairies, leprechauns, gnomes, trolls, water spirits, animal and plant spirits or ‘devas’ , angels, invisible helpers, shaman ‘spirits’, ‘allies’, UFOs, extra-terrestrials, possessive demons, Satan, Pan-figures and other demi-gods” (Ref).

Robert Priddy also attributed his most profound spiritual experiences to LSD-Induced hallucinations, which he has been praising for well over 30+ years. Even Robert Priddy’s son, Kai Nicolai Priddy, is a “true believer” in Astrology and is the webmaster and registrant for the Abacus Astrology Domain (Ref). Robert Priddy refuses to say one word about his own son’s “superstitious” beliefs although he trashes and bashes others for their “lunatic fringe” beliefs on his Anti-Sai WordPress blog.

Robert Priddy ceaselessly attempts to portray himself as an intelligent, scientific and rational individual even though his current friendship, association and Anti-Sai Activism with Psychic Trace Medium Conny Larsson speaks for him to the contrary.

These are the typical types of questionable characters who are attempting to smear, defame and ridicule Sathya Sai Baba. The truth is now out and there is no stopping it.

Sathya Sai Baba, Barry Pittard, Robert Priddy And Conny Larsson

Sathya Sai Baba, Barry Pittard, Robert Priddy And Conny Larsson

In an amusing turn of events, Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy (two of the main spokespersons for the Anti-Sai Movement) are widely soliciting Conny Larsson (an ex-devotee of the Indian Guru Sathya Sai Baba) on their Anti-Sai WordPress Blogs.

On their Anti-Sai WordPress Blogs, Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy (who often side with Indian rationalists, skeptics and atheists like Premanand, Edamaruku, Narasimhaiah, etc.) made numerous condescending slurs and defamations against gurus, India, Indians and Hinduism. Despite Pittard and Priddy’s alleged rationalism and skepticism, they are now citing Conny Larsson as a highly credible and noteworthy voice against Sathya Sai Baba and Sai Devotees.

Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy consistently ignore and refuse to discuss Conny Larsson’s cult-like development into a New Age psychic trance medium and prophet.

As a matter of fact, Conny Larsson is alleged to be:

  1. An internationally renown psychic trance medium for the spirit of Vyasa (Refs: 0102).
  2. An internationally renown psychic who can contact dead people, see dead people and hear dead people’s voices in his head (Refs: 010203).
  3. An internationally renown psychic trance healer (Refs: 010203).
  4. And pet psychic who can contact the spirits of deceased pets (Ref).
  5. A yoga instructor (an internet claim).
  6. A person who conducts (and charges for) private trance healing sessions in which a Spirit Guide helps him to diagnose problems with his clients (Ref).
  7. A meditation master (Ref).
  8. A person who teaches others (and charges for) a nine-step meditation program in which students advance from lower steps to higher ones using the TM (Transcendental Meditation) technique that he learned from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (Ref).
  9. A Vedic mantra acharya (Refs: 0102).
  10. A person who charges people money to diagnose their illnesses and diseases by using a crystal pendulum (Ref).
  11. A person who teaches people how to use crystal pendulums (Ref).
  12. A person who charges people money to unblock their chakras (Ref).
  13. A person who teaches people how to “diagnose” blockages in auras (Ref).
  14. A person who claims that body piercing affect acupuncture and meridian points and are harmful on the “cellular level” (Ref).
  15. A post-Sai Baba disciple of Shankaracharya Swami Brahmananda Saraswati (Ref).
  16. A person who claims to have 10,000 devotees / students (Ref).
  17. A person who conducts trance healing “seances” (Ref).
  18. A person who is on the Swedish board for Neal Donald Walsh’s “Humanity Team”. Neal Donald Walsh has written and published many books with his alleged and inspired “conversations with God” (Ref).
  19. A former professional actor in Sweden popularly remembered as the clown “Beppo” (wouldn’t those acting skills come in handy for a convincing portrayal of oneself as a psychic medium?).
  20. A psychotherapist (presenting himself as an authority figure who understands human emotions and thought-processes and thereby may influence and manipulate others into believing his psychic claims).
  21. A person who warns his audience against “charlatans” who charge large sums of money although he typically grosses US $1,400 in admission fees only and charges US $72 (per person) for individual psychic readings and US $58 (per person) for weekend meditation sessions (Ref).
  22. A person who adamantly refuses to submit himself to scientific observation or testing for confirmation of his alleged psychic abilities.

Conny Larsson – ‘Lunatic Fringe’ In The Anti-Sai Movement:

About the Ramayana, Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy wrote:

“Nor can any intelligent person make good or relevant sense of it in the modern world – it is just a fantastic, impossible concocted story of the ‘Superman’ kind – with ‘monkey-man’ Hanuman lifting and flying aloft with a whole mountain (so Rama could pick out a herb from it!) or jumping across the sea to Sri Lanka. Come on, how can one be so backward intellectually? This may be o.k. for ignorant peasants, but the thinking world must regard it as sheer delusion!”

Did you get that Mr. Conny Larsson?

“…it is just a fantastic, impossible concocted story of the ‘Superman’ kind…”

“Come on, how can one be so backward intellectually?”

“This may be o.k. for ignorant peasants, but the thinking world must regard it as sheer delusion!”

The reason why this is so amusing is because Conny Larsson is now claiming he is a psychic medium and trance channeler for the spirit of Vyasa, an immortal guru who shares his chiranjeevin status with Hanuman and Vibhishana (from the Ramayana). Therefore, Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy have bashed and trashed one of their own, Conny Larsson, as being one of those “backward intellectually” “ignorant peasants” who believes in “impossible concocted stories of the ‘Superman’ kind”!

Even worse, Conny Larsson not only believes in these “concocted” stories, he claims that the spirit of Vyasa is speaking through him in psychic trances! If the stories in the Ramayana, Mahabharata and Srimad Bagavatam are “concocted”, what does that make Conny Larsson? It makes him a con-man, a fraud and a spiritual imposter. Thank you Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy!

I just love it when Anti-Sai Activists attempt to malign Sathya Sai Baba and Sai Devotees and end up maligning themselves in the process. Needless to say, not even one Ex-Devotee has said even one word about Conny Larsson’s self-promotion as a guru, yoga instructor, chakras / kundalini instructor, meditation teacher, pet psychic, mantra acharya, psychic healer, trance channeler, medium, Vedic authority, true-believer and disciple of Shankaracharya Swami Brahmananda Saraswati. Amusingly, Robert Priddy has inadvertently dumped Conny Larsson into the same lunatic fringe category that he dumped Sai Devotees, his astrologer son (Kai Nicolai Priddy) and himself into.

If Conny Larsson is a “backward intellectually” “ignorant peasant” who believes in “impossible concocted stories of the ‘Superman’ kind” and part of the “lunatic fringe” seen in religious movements, then why should anyone give credence to his allegations against Sathya Sai Baba?

Yes, this is the type of person that Ex-Devotees typically cite against Sathya Sai Baba. Next, Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy will probably have Conny Larsson channel the spirit of Vyasa so they can obtain a “credible” and “convincing testimony” from him and use it on their Anti-Sai websites as “irrefutable proof” that even the immortal Vyasa had something negative to say about Sathya Sai Baba.

Basava Premanand - Indian Skeptic Rationalist Atheist Vouches For Integrity Of Psychic Medium Conny Larsson

Indian Skeptic, Rationalist And Atheist Promotes Psychic Trance Medium
In an amusing twist of events, Basava Premanand (a fanatic rationalist, skeptic, atheist and decades-long Sai Baba critic) published a book for Conny Larsson entitled “Behind The Clown’s Mask”, which was highly critical of the Indian guru Sri Sathya Sai Baba (Ref).

Attempting to sling mud at Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Basava Premanand blindly published and widely solicited a book for Conny Larsson, a man who openly claims to be:

  1. A bisexual; meaning he engages in heterosexual and homosexual sex (which Conny Larsson publicly divulged on the internet and in various Swedish newspapers).
  2. An internationally renown psychic trance medium for the spirit of Vyasa (Refs: 0102).
  3. An internationally renown psychic who can contact dead people, see dead people and hear dead people’s voices in his head (Refs: 010203).
  4. An internationally renown psychic trance healer (Refs: 010203).

  23. A person who adamantly refuses to submit himself to scientific observation or testing for confirmation of his alleged psychic abilities.

Since Basava Premanand blindly believes any and all material opposing Sathya Sai Baba, he apparently failed to conduct a remedial background search on Conny Larsson, a self-professed Psychic Medium. Needless to say, Basava Premanand believed in, endorsed, published and widely solicited Conny Larsson’s Anti-Sai-Baba book. Taking it a step further, Basava Premanand published material pertaining to Psychic Conny Larsson in his Indian Skeptic magazine and even sent copies of Conny Larsson’s book to various high-ranking Indian officials and his rationalist subscribers. Too funny! A skeptic and atheist vouching for the integrity, honesty and credibility of a self-professed psychic trance medium! It doesn’t get much nuttier than this, folks.

Of course, Basava Premanand’s nutty behavior is not surprising. Premanand is a malicious libeler who cares less for the truth and cares more for his agendas of smearing, slurring and defaming.

Basava Premanand Believes Psychics Are Con-Men, Liars And Frauds
Basava Premanand firmly believes (or so he says) that so-called healers, trance channelers, psychics, psychic healers, spirit mediums, mantra acharyas, crystal healers, etc. (all of which Conny Larsson claims to be), are con-men, liars and frauds deceiving others for fame and fortune (Ref). Therefore, Basava Premanand made the case that Conny Larsson is a con-man, liar and fraud deceiving others for fame and fortune. Thank you Mr. Basava Premanand.

As a matter of fact, Basava Premanand will offer Rs. 100,000/-Rs to any person who can demonstrate any type of psychic, supernatural or paranormal ability under his direct observation (Ref). Did Basava Premanand confirm Conny Larsson’s psychic powers? If not (he never claimed he did in his Indian Skeptic tabloid), then why did Basava Premanand deem Conny Larsson so credible, so honest and so convincing that he published a book for him? Does it have to do with the fact that Conny Larsson is a self-professed multi-millionaire (Ref)?

Needless to say, Basava Premanand’s association with Conny Larsson reflects badly on his so-called “rationalism”, “skepticism” and “atheism”. It appears that Basava Premanand is a pseudo-rationalist, pseudo-skeptic and pseudo-atheist who is willing to compromise his pseudo-scientific beliefs by publishing a book by a psychic trance medium who claims that the immortal rishi Vyasa speaks through him. If Premanand believes psychics are con-men, liars and frauds, then what makes Conny Larsson’s claims against Sathya Sai Baba any more credible than his claims of being a psychic trance channeler?

Basava Premanand is an Anti-Sai loon and clown who attempts to portray himself as a “rational” voice against superstition. Needless to say, even Ex-Devotees refuse to say one word about Conny Larsson’s psychic and cult-like claims. The truth is now out and there is no stopping it.
