The Aura Of Selfless Love

Professor Frank Baranowski, a psychologist and regression therapist, specializes in research on auras, the energy patterns that surround all living beings, and works at the university of Arizona. He is an expert in bio-magnetic field radiation photography. He has photographed and interpreted the auras for numerous men and women using the ultra-sensitive Kirlian camera.

Professor Baranowski had read several books about Sri Sathya Sai Baba, including Samuel Sandweiss’s “Sai Baba, the Holy man and the Psychiatrist.” He wondered whether such a person could really exist and whether all that was written about him was factual. As he was, at that time, writing a book on reincarnation based on case studies and other findings, he was interested in Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s claim of being a reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba.

During Christmas 1977, Professor Baranowski was a guest at a home where a Bhajan (devotional songs) session was in progress. A stranger to this form of worship, he withdrew to a room upstairs. He was resting there quietly in the dark room when, to his astonishment, a candle on the table suddenly burst into flames.

The bright flame illuminated a nearby picture of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He could not understand who could have lighted the candle. He was alone in the room. There had not been any sound and no one had come in. How could a flame appear all of a sudden on the wick of the candle? He stared at the picture and it did many things to him. It seemed to penetrate into him and to beckon to him. To a man of science, this occurrence was totally inexplicable.

The thought of Sri Sathya Sai Baba lingered in him long after the candle experience. He decided to go to India and visit Sai Baba. Here is the account of his encounter with Baba for the first time, in his own words:

Sathya Sai Baba? Yes, I had heard of Him but with a lot of mixed emotions. The stories that were attributed to this man bordered on the incredible. As a man of science, I am aware of psychosomatic healings, and I have seen miraculous healings done by such notable personalities as Olga Worrell, and at such famous places as Lourdes. Yet, here were rumours of a man from India who could heal people by His mere touch. The story hinged on the unbelievable.

In July of 1978, I found myself at the first World Peace Conference at Bangalore. I had heard that Sathya Sai Baba resided in a place called Whitefield. This small community boasts of a college founded by Sathya Sai Baba and dedicated to science and commerce. As I arrived by taxicab, the first thing I noticed was the refreshing cleanliness of the area.

Though hot and stiflingly humid, hundreds of Indians and foreigners crowded the grounds surrounding Sathya Sai Baba’s ‘ashram’ or residence. I joined the patient assemblage, sitting squat-legged among the Eastern visages. I didn’t have to wait long until Sathya Sai Baba appeared. I must confess, this first time I saw Him I was not impressed.

He was of small stature and walked among the people as if He were distracted. He would hardly take the time to look at a person or to talk with them – then He would suddenly turn His head as if looking for someone else. It wasn’t until the next morning that I realized I was seeing an individual who possessed gifts beyond description.

It was about five o’clock in the morning, and the followers had been singing their devotional songs and chanting during a parade around the compound at Whitefield, when Sathya Sai Baba came out of His residence.

Now, I have always been able to see the human aura. The auras around average people extend as much as three to five feet. Auras are composed of every imaginable colour and these colours change as a person’s emotional, physical and mental states change. In general, whenever the colour blue is evident in a person’s aura, it is an indication of deep spirituality; green is a healing color; yellow indicates high intelligence; and red means anger or frustration.

The colour pink, which is rarely seen, typifies a person capable of selfless love, and this was the colour that Sathya Sai Baba had around Him. The aura around Sathya Sai Baba went beyond the building reaching thirty or forty feet in all directions. Never having seen any aura like this before, my first reaction was to look for fluorescent lights, which may have been shining on Him. But as I watched, the beautiful pink energy pattern moved as He moved; there was no doubt that this was His aura.

Entranced by this remarkable sight, I barely heard the devotional songs that were being sung, and before I knew it, Sathya Sai Baba had gone. The crowd settled in the now-familiar cross-legged positions and prepared themselves to wait until Sathya Sai Baba’s next appearance, four hours later.

I have had the pleasure of meeting such personalities as ex-president Gerald Ford, Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, and Pope John Paul II, and I have studied their auras as well as tens of thousands of others, I say this not as a testimonial but as a fact; not one person I have ever seen has an aura to compare to the size and colour of Sathya Sai Baba’s aura

The heat was remarkable; the humidity hung like a wet cloth over the gathering. Amid chanting, a few anxious eyes watched the threatening skies, Dark clouds gave foreboding signs of torrential storms, but all around me devotees were assuring each other “Sathya Sai Baba won’t allow it to rain”.

Then, there He was again, I felt my heartbeat quicken as He turned in my direction. Soon He stepped beside me, looked at me, and then made a quick motion to the man seated beside me. Suddenly crushed lilies began to appear in the palms of His hands, and as they poured forth, the petals filled the cupped hands of the seated man. But the flower petals didn’t stop coming; they went on to fill the waiting hands of a second, a third and then a fourth person!

As this great man turned away, He glanced in my direction as if to say, “Have you noticed what I have just done?” I couldn’t have helped witnessing what had happened. To answer possible arguments, Sathya Sai Baba’s sleeves reached His elbows. So it was not by magic tricks that these petals appeared. And I was not hypnotized into believing I was seeing them, for I am a licensed hypnotist myself and am very difficult to hypnotize. Within my limited understanding, it was difficult to believe I had just witnessed this miraculous demonstration. I sat there, in that same position, for a very long time, dumbfounded by what I had seen.

The very next morning I felt myself drawn back to the very same compound, sitting in the lotus position and waiting for Sathya Sai Baba to appear once again.

As I sat quietly, I heard a voice in my mind tell me that I must cross the field, walk through the area where the women were standing and talk to a man who was standing against a building there. I did not feel comfortable approaching a stranger, especially in a strange country where there is a language barrier, but I could no longer ignore the voice in my mind. I went across the field and found a man standing against the building. I spoke to him.

“I hope you speak English. I have a voice in my mind that says I must speak to you”. He introduced himself as Prof. Narender, and he said, “You must be the lecturer Sathya Sai Baba said would speak to me today”.

I am a lecturer; I have given approximately 9000 lectures all over the world. But how did this man know that?

In the next four days I watched Sathya Sai Baba with His people. He calmed them; He gave them hope. As He walked among them, the beautiful pink colour in His aura permeated the violent red colours in the crowd. His selfless love transcended their fears and worries. Perhaps you have to meet this man to understand His gifts. He gives of Himself to thousands of people from all around the world who await His blessings.

Prof. Narender’s message to me proved to be that I was to speak to Sathya Sai Baba’s college on Friday afternoon. Eight hundred students and later one hundred teachers listened to my lecture. As I stood next to Sathya Sai Baba, I could see His aura reach beyond the platform. It surrounded all the people in the room. Soon His love – and that’s the only word I can use for the warm, buoyant, totally immersing emotion we experienced that evening – reached each and every person in that room and they began to sing and chant devotions to this man.

The word “Avatar” is often used when referring to Sathya Sai Baba, meaning one who has Christ-like powers, or God-like power and one who may even be God Himself.

Now, I am a devout Catholic. Yet I would be a fool if I did not recognize the powers this man has. Amidst the singing and chanting, the Avatar turned to me and said, “Because you are a man of such great love….” and He showed me the empty palm of His hand.

He circled His hand in the air three times and produced a ring with the nine precious gems of the world embedded in gold. He said, “It will only fit the first finger of the right hand”. And indeed, that is the only finger it fits.

It’s magnificent! It’s a beautiful ring! But it holds special meaning to me because this great man, this Avatar, graced me with His words: “Because you are a man of such great love…. “

The next day I was once again honoured by Sathya Sai Baba as I was granted a private audience with Him. I was anxious to discuss not only reincarnation with Him, but also my grandson. The boy was born with a heart defect. At the age of one year he weighed slightly less than seven pounds. Numerous operations left him with little hope for a normal life, even if he survived at all.

But before I could mention this to Sathya Sai Baba, He told me that there would be an operation on the day I arrived home (in Arizona) and that the baby would be well. I said, “You must be wrong. The baby is not old enough to have this operation. The physicians said the minimum age for the operation would be at age two, even two and a half.” Sathya Sai Baba just smiled, and said, “No, it will be on the day you arrive home.”

He was right. On the day I arrived in Arizona, the baby was operated on. The doctor who performed the surgery gave my grandson little hope of survival. When my daughter introduced the doctor to me, I discovered he was from India. I told him I had just returned from there, and mentioned some of the places I’d been to. When I mentioned Whitefield he interrupted me and asked, “That’s Sathya Sai Baba’s country, isn’t it?”

I said yes, and showed him the ring I had been blessed with. The doctor looked at me with the eyes glowing, and said, “The child will live,” as if all that was needed was the mention of Sathya Sai Baba’s name.

The child did survive.

Perhaps of all the miracles I witnessed in my ten days in India, no miracle is as great as the miracle of one man giving so much love to so many people. In my estimation and experimentation, Sri Sathya Sai Baba is, aura-wise, exactly what He says He is and what He asks everyone to be. He is love, pure and simple. He is love walking on two legs. Such unselfish love is nothing other than Divinity.

Psychics! Psychics! Psychics!

I found another very amusing article written by Tony O’Clery / “aoclery” (an ex-devotee of Sathya Sai Baba about how all the members in his family are “psychic” in various ways. O’Clery said:

FamilyPsychism.The family is quite psychic in different ways. My wife Jean is very sensitive and can feel and see “things”. Her mother can see and converse with disincarnates at will, almost. Brigid has lucid dreams but is extremely sensitive to feeling and when someone is sick she knows about it, distance doesn’t matter. Brigid also can see spirits and was the first to notice the previous dweller in our house, whose name she got. Tony is also psychic as well but he doesn’t explore it, however like many in the family he can see auras and other phenomena. Stella was a late bloomer in this field but is quite sensitive

Nicole has been psychic for as long as I can remember. Even as a child she could see Auras and talk to animals, as could Brigid and Tony. She could also see spirits and Angels would visit her. As she has become older this gift seems to have stabilised into clairvoyance and clairaudience as well. She can read the Tarot very well and has healing hands and has always been able to do Reiki. It seems that she has giant spirits that protect her. At one time she was being oppressed by spirits bothering her, pulling her hair, pushing her and otherwise scaring and tormenting her. She went to a Pundit but he had no lasting effect. Eventually the spirits stopped bothering her and she became quite strong in the meantime. The giant spirits came some time later and Nicole says they are very tall and she tells me they are blue and wear what they call “priyapanda” headbands.(Lovebands.)Nicole doesn’t speak Sanskrit so this word had to be translated.

A couple of examples of her work are her contact with Eilish and her communication with her fiancee’s father.

It seems that Nicole was awakened in the early hours by an apparition in her room accompanied by loud knocking. It was her fiancee’s father he had just passed away in hospital. He wanted to give messages to his family about the dangers of materialism. He had particular messages for his son William. One day he appeared to Nicole while William was there and he wanted to give William a fish. So as Nicole was the only one who could see the old man she told William to kneel in the middle of the room with his hands out. His father then put the fish in William’s hands and he could feel the cold wetness and the weight of it, even though only Nicole could see it. Nicole said that the smell of fish permeated the apartment all day. Eventually because the father wanted to give messages to all the family she organised a meeting of the family. She acted as an intermediatory for him and passed the messages and communications back and forth. After the session was finished Nicole told him that he had to go on to “the Light”. At that moment two Angels appeared and he went with them from this border plane to a place of rest.

Another time something similar happened was when a girlfriend’s cousin died in Ireland. Within hours of the death and almost immediately Nicole was informed, she was talking to the person that had crossed over. The deceased said that she was surprised by the after-death experience and it wasn’t anything like she had expected, as a Catholic. This communication helped her friend to come to terms with her cousin’s death. Nicole described the deceased and even knew that another relative had passed over pretty recently. The deceased had been met by members of her family and was quite happy to be deceased. She had died of cancer at about twenty eight years of age. Nicole relayed some messages and thoughts as well. Nicole had done the same thing for the same friend with regard to her friend’s mother, who had died, some two years previously. Nicole describes the appearance of the deceased without ever having known or seen her.(This seems to be a Seva work that Nicole is performing. For knowing what has happened to a loved one after they cross over seems to be very comforting, and the real nature of what death is understood better.)There are other examples but there is no point in recounting them all.

Her idea of God is Universal Energy or The Shakti, although she doesn’t use that term. Another daughter Stella is able to see spirits as well. She has seen old men sitting watching television, and then going out to look at the ocean view. She has sensed them around amd seem some previous dwellers of various houses. (Reference)

That’s right, O’Clery claims that his family can “sense things”, can see dead people, can talk to dead people, can see auras, can talk to animals, are clairvoyant, are clairaudient, have “giant spirits” protecting them, read tarot cards, can heal people with their hands and can see old, dead men watching television!

Tony even described himself as “psychic”. Tony also believes he can converse with dead people and hear their voices in his head and that he enters demon trances.

This is the Anti-Sai weirdo who blathers about others suffering from “True Believer Syndrome“.

Who Are You Going To Call? The O’Clery Ghost Busters!

Not only does Tony O’Clery (an ex-devotee of Sathya Sai Baba) believe that he can speak to dead people, he sadly and obviously brainwashed his own daughter (Nicole) into thinking that she can do the same thing.

On his personal website, O’Clery claimed that he and Nicole spoke to several disembodied entities (Reference).

Some amusing and very revealing quotes:
“NICOLE AND I TALK TO EILISH 10th February 1996″:

Nicole had smelt “death”,and soon after I told her about Eilish’s death she was in contact with her. It seems if a person who has passed over is thinking about a particular person, or the reverse situation, and a medium is involved, that sets up the link or channel. It is a three way connection, to start with, with the lower minds involved, especially if the deceased is still in the border plane.This chapter covers our questions and answer period with the newly dead Eilish.Who had only just passed away on the ninth of February 1996.The language may be stilted but this is how it was .

Nicole acted as the conscious medium and relayed all the messages. Without meditation I was unable to hear or see Eilish, but I could see the images in my mind’s eye. Eilish suffered from bone-cancer and died of pneumonia, in hospital. (Her family had kept from her the fact that she was dying but she indicated to Nicole and I that she was aware of the fact.)

Eilish not so confused in the border plane now, happy to communicate and starting to understand her present condition. She says that Angels/Devas appear as soon as she thinks of them.

During the session I held Esha’s hand twice and felt the vibration and heat; Esha was happy about it.

Nicole saw her take form twice whilst talking to her. She said that she talked sweetly and was small and pale but happy. She also said that Eilish was wearing a white or pearl necklace. I saw Esha’s face in my mind, or in Nicole’s. Esha said again that the after-death experience was nothing like she had been taught, (Catholic teaching.) (Eilish at this time of course was still in the Border Planes, or Bardos.)

She stayed with Nicole for an hour just visiting at her apartment and said that she was quite a little missy .She said that some suffering my wife had as a child was…..(Private message). Eilish was very impressed with this type of “radio” she was using to communicate with Nicole, and she was happy she could be where she wanted immediately she thought of it. She also said that a lot of Anthony’s friends are up here; (my friends).

The next day I did a meditation , and I explained the bhajan to her. She asked about the worshiping and what I was doing with the flame. I explained the Arti, Maya. (It seems that my psychic ability is far stronger on the astral and mental than it is on the lower bardos,where I am somewhat weaker, due to the late period of life that I took it up)

During one meditation I took Esha by the hand and we went up through the dimensions. As happened to me at an ashram in India. The next time I tried I was stopped by two Devas whe didn’t want us doing it, for whatever reason. (She wanted her grandaughter to have one of her names. I was to put the request in an envelope and send it to the family, to be opened after the little girl was born. This was done and the little girl was so named.)

On the 17th of February, 1997 I was meditating in the bath but could not hear Esha. I took my consciousness up to the vital plane, asking for my Higher Self’s, Blessing, passing mishapen ghoulies on the way. I found her shell floating with mouth open. Either abandoned or asleep, I decided abandoned, she had moved on. This was the second death.(I asked my Higher Self, for help during these sessions, and the process I used was to completely relax my body and go into a state of meditation, then visualise as much as possible until the visions came by themselves.)

I went up to see my uncle, Father Ted, on the Astral. He said Eilish had been there to his church but was not there now. Uncle John was dancing somewhere. Ted apologised for his rigidness whilst alive. I said not to worry, that was his belief system..

I went up to higher planes, there were formless beings, still couldn’t find Eilish. Good blissful vibrations at this level.

I heard Eilish call my name, she said lots of my friends are up here and lots of God’s Devotees have been helping and instructing her. I explained a little about God’s Dream, Avatars and about all being One, Also that all was a dream no matter what level or plane we’re on.

She was very happy and blissful and I talked about her husband Gregg. She said that she knew about him, she told me to buy him a book and send it to him. She was obviously very spiritual and could move through the different levels herself.

Around about this time I was getting visits in meditation from a soldier in uniform. He would appear as I was coming down through the dream plane. I mentioned it to my wife a few times, that a soldier was visiting me. I realised after a few visits that it was Basil Weston and that he was coming to me, looking for Eilish. Perhaps he was on a different plane from her. However I did have a vison of them together. He was her partner and had been killed in Burma during WWII, and received the V.C. for sacrificing his life for his platoon. On 22/4/96 I met Eilish again, she appeared young, with long hair and a coat. She was quiet at first, and I thought she was mad at me, but no, she embraced me-a thank you, I think.

I have found that I can communicate with Eilish if I meditate, go up the dimensions and visualise her. Last time I heard her “voice,” saying that the image wasn’t her, she was something else ,the image it seems is my mind’s way of communicating with her. The image is just the message that I am trying to communicate.

Weird. Very Weird!

Not only does Tony O’Clery claim that he speaks to disembodied spirits (like “Eilish”, “Father Ted” and “Basil”), he feeds his delirium to his own daughter and encourages it!

Tony O’Clery is an Anti-Sai Clown who tries to bamboozle others with his psycho-babble juggling act. The only people who believe O’Clery are the same gullible, naive, and biddable ones who believe O’Clery can divine the names to demons and communicate with dead people in self-induced trances. lol

This is the guy who is attempting to “expose” Sathya Sai Baba. As I have said many times before: “nutters”.

Sathya Sai Baba Golden Healing Shiva Lingam?

The following images are pictures of a healing Shiva Lingam that Sathya Sai Baba manifested in 1993.

Even Robert Priddy (a former-follower and current critic of the Indian Guru) published a picture of the healing lingam in his Pro-Sai book, “Source Of The Dream” and said:

Lingam of solid gold materialized during a discourse at Prashanti Nilayam in 1993. Sathya Sai Baba said that every household should have this picture since it has healing properties.

Connie Shaw also wrote about the healing lingam picture in her book “Mary’s Miracles and Prophecies” (pg 270):

On May 5, 1991, Sathya Sai Baba materialized a golden egg that has several names and is rich with symbolism. Baba said that the Hiranyagarbha Lingam (Golden Heart Lingam) “contains the entire universe in microscopic form. It is a manifestation of the Trinity – Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva (God as the Creator, Sustainer and Destroyer). It is also the Atmic consciousness (Holy Spirit) – like a thread running through a pearl necklace. It is at the Spiritual Heart.” In the Spiritual Heritage Museum in Puttaparthi there is a quote by Baba referring to the lingam (lingams in general) as the “Cosmic Seed of Creation.”After Sai Baba had manifested it, He said that it is a great blessing for anyone to receive this photo and that it should be kept in every home. His energy will work miracles through it. This is the first time anyone has every heard Baba say this about any photo.Dr M Doraisingham, whom I have never met, who sent the photo to me from England, sent the following story in a four and a half page letter. Baba had just materialized the Golden Lingam while standing on the auditorium stage at the Trayee Brindavan Summer Course assembly.Baba asked Professor Sampath to hold the lingam awhile so that Baba could watch the student cultural program. Professor Sampath is Vice Chancellor of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Puttaparthi, South India; he was thrilled beyond words. During the hour that Professor Sampath kept the lingam he became warm and said that he was in a “state of divine ecstasy”.After the conclusion of the cultural program, Swami played a little joke on Professor Sampath. Finally Baba gave a joyful laugh and said that He had sent the Golden Lingam back where it had come from.Dr Doraisingham also said that on June 7, 1991, while walking to darshan to see Baba, he came upon a dead child beside the roadside, held by his mother. The doctor had just been given the Golden Lingam photo and held it against the child, who had just fallen out of an overcrowded van onto the road and been killed. He chanted “Om Sai Ram” many times while praying to Baba and massaged the boy’s chest and abdomen. The dead child was restored to life with the energy of Sai moving through the photo and the next day, in an interview with a friend of Dr Doraisingham, Baba confirmed the entire incident.Baba impressed upon the doctor to stop, to heal the child using the photo, and later said to Professor Anil Kumar, “The child was dead at that point in time.”

In January of 1994, when this author (Connie Shaw) gave a talk in Houston, Texas, USA, on the lingam photo, several people were healed on the spot simply by touching it to the afflicted area. For example, a few people who had experienced headaches that very moment were relieved of pain. One man was in pain from kidney stones; he placed the photo against his lower back in the kidney area and the sharp stabbing pains vanished.
