Sai Reflections

The following words (author unknown) are worth pondering over:

If a child lives with criticism,
he learns to condemn
If a child lives with hostility,
he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule,
he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame,
he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance,
he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement,
he learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise,
he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness,
he learns justice.
If a child lives with security,
he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval,
he learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love. Praise is good, but don’t overdo it: It has at last been realised that a child does need some encouragement and praise but, like most things, this can be overdone. Give praise when it is due, but don’t shower praise on shoddy work and half-baked efforts. Your child is no fool, and knows perfectly well that it could have done much better, and so loses respect for your judgement if you are too easily satisfied. It is much more helpful to examine the work carefully (whether picture, homework, sandcastle, or anything else) praise the good parts, then give constructive hints on how it could be improved.

In that way, the child will appreciate that you have shown genuine interest, while, at the same time, being encouraged to do better. One needs to build the child’s self confidence, but giving praise where it is not due can produce the opposite result. The child can become addicted to praise and, when it is not forthcoming, a feeling of insurmountable inadequacy then often takes over. The need for ideals: Our aim should always be to prepare our children for life. This means giving them ideals, self-confidence, adherence to values, consideration for others, and the courage to face difficulties. But this also implies that you, yourselves, must practice these virtues. Sathya Sai Baba: “People want happiness in the family, but they fail to lead exemplary lives. The fault lies with both the husband and the wife. If children have taken to wrong paths these days, the parents alone are responsible, as they are not exemplary in their behaviour either.”

Children learn by example: As Sathya Sai Baba says elsewhere, “Parents must set good examples for their children. Parents talk of honesty, but they utter lies in the presence of their children, and even encourage them to speak falsehood. The father, while at home, asks the child to tell the unwelcome visitor that he is not at home! The child is thus taught his first lesson in prevarication by the father himself. There is no use blaming the child if he grows into a social menace.” It is natural for children to imitate the grown-ups around them; that is how they learn. It is no use scolding your child for using some four-letter word that you, yourself, use at every turn. By all means correct the child, but say also that you realise that you must correct yourself as well; you can even ask him to help you correct yourself—he will be very good at it, and you might even succeed in breaking the habit! Sathya Sai Baba: “You should have proper control over your children, but first of all you must have control over yourself. Only when the father is good, can he expect his son to be good. Is it possible for him to keep his son at home if he, himself, roams about as he pleases and goes to places that he should avoid?”

Passports – Lost And Found

Sathya Sai Baba - Passports Lost And Found

Sathya Sai Baba - Passports Lost And Found

Passports – Lost And Found

Each one of us is in the very same situation. Any little accomplishment, any little deed is always supported by the unseen hand of our Beloved Lord. When I look back into the face of time, I find a rainbow of memories flashing before me. There is one thing I never failed throughout. It is the presence of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, saturated by His Love. Every moment is filled with His omnipresence, omnipotence and omniscience. However it is for us to recognize this truth A couple of years ago, my parents along with my brother and I were taking a walk down the shopping lanes of London where we intended to make our purchases. On our way out one of the supermarkets, my father accidentally happened to put his hand into his hand baggage and to our dismay he found all our passports missing!

We were initially panic stricken, but our faith in Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba removed all our fears. We searched all around the place, retracting our steps but there was no sign of any of our passports. My father went down the lane making inquiries, but none of them brought us anywhere close to our passports. My father finally decided to register the problem with the police and started looking out for police officer.

As he proceeded, a young Englishman whom he saw for the first time came straight to him and said. “You must be looking for the lost and found department. Sir it is right over there,” and gave him some landmark. My father walked into the office of the British cops, as he had been directed to. As he opened the door of the lost and found department, he saw the officer in-charge just placing all our passports in a bag. “Thank God”, his exclamation was enough to inform the officer that those passports belong to us.

Nevertheless he looked at my father with a smile and asked, “Are these your passports?” The answer of my father in the affirmative seemed to delight the officer and on being asked how the passports landed there, he said. “Didn’t you meet anyone on the way up?”

My father said that there wasn’t any one he met. But the officer was not satisfied. He went on and said that the man who gave the passports just left a few seconds before my father came in and he said that he was the owner of the shop. My father just posed one last question on his way out with passports. “How did he look like?” The reply to the question was enough to throw us back in our seats and start thinking. Every single description matched the splendor of our Beloved Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and we were deeply thankful for all that he had done for our family.

It was about nine months after that Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba appear in the dream of my father and confirmed His presence at London in a very unique way. The amount of concern Bhagavan has for each of us in much more than what the word concern literally means. The unfathomable ocean of His love goes far beyond our mind’s comprehension. There is a lot we students to learn from His actions, from His words and a lot to learn from His love.

We have to travel far beyond to be able to know actually how fortunate each of us is to be with Sathya Sai Baba. What we see of Him today is a very minute spectacle of what He actually is. Each one of us is on a long journey, “from us to ourselves” and we are immensely fortunate to have our goal. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba as our guide. And on this journey, it is my constant prayer to Bhagavan that He be with us and guide us throughout so that I may be an instrument in His hands.

Seeing Sai Baba

Seeing Sai Baba
VASTHU SASTRA
By T.SELVA

Our columnist has a spiritual time in a remote village in India.

INTRIGUED by his teachings on human values and the fact that he has followers in 170 countries, I travelled to Puttaparthi, India, last weekend to experience Sathya Sai Baba’s darshan (blessings).

Puttaparthi is a remote village in Andhra Pradesh state in India’s south-east that has been placed on the world map as a top pilgrimage centre owing to the presence there of Baba, who is considered a living god by more than 100 million followers worldwide.

The shops, hotels, banks and other business outlets in the village all depend on the floating population of thousands who come there from all over the world throughout the year to seek Baba’s blessing and peace of mind.

My first glimpse of Sathya Sai Baba is when shopkeepers rush out of their stores to join the crowds lining the main street – Baba is passing by in a car escorted by police and volunteers, returning to his abode.

He’s returning from a visit to the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital, which treats the poor for free and also handles cases related to cardiology, urology, nephrology and ophthalmology.

I later discover that to get into Baba’s Prasanthi Nilayam (Abode of Peace), one must go through airport-style security checks, including going through a metal detector and being frisked. And just like on an airplane, cameras, mobile phones, pens and sharp objects were prohibited. Men and women are separated to opposite sides of the huge hall.

The day that I’m here, Nov 7, is special because on the second Saturday of November every year, devotees in Puttaparthi and at Sai Baba centres worldwide sing bhajans (devotional chants) continuously for 24 hours to confer peace, joy, harmony and bliss to all of mankind.

Thousands of vocalists sing with full devotion and the divine vibration is said to have the power to remove negative thoughts, soothe the nerves, purify the mind and heal those within earshot.

I am overwhelmed by the vibrations of the sacred sounds the moment I step foot into the holy space.

Seated in a lotus pose in silence, I feel a sudden surge of energy rushing into my body when Satya Sai Baba arrives in a wheel chair.

Wearing a saffron coloured robe, Baba seems, to me, electrifying – so much so that I feel goose pimples, and tears well up in my eyes.

Some of his devotees tell me later that such experiences are common in the presence of a “realised master” because his mind is saturated with “God consciousness” and a great ecstasy will develop within any individual close by, without any mental or intellectual effort.

Sathya Sai Baba is pushed slowly along an aisle lined on both sides by over 10,000 devotees; he stops occasionally to receive letters and wedding invitation cards from his followers, and some cry with love and joy when he’s close.

He does not speak but gazes deeply into the eyes of everyone he comes into contact with; when he reaches the dais in front, he sweeps his eyes over all his devotees. His disciples clasp their hands in prayer and bow, while the crowd basks in the peace he is emanating.

Sathya SaiBaba was born on Nov 23, 1926, and, right from his childhood, there were consistent manifestations of his divinity. For instance, his birth was accompanied by strange phenomena – like the musical instruments in his house playing on their own and a cobra lying unthreateningly under his bed.

Even as a small child, he was against violence and refused to touch meat; by the age of four, when most children have not learnt to share yet, he began displaying compassion and generosity.

At the age of 14, he declared to his family that he did not belong only to them and set out with others who believed in him to launch his divine mission in the service of mankind.

He would enchant his followers by doing things like distributing sweets from an empty bag, plucking a variety of fruits from a tamarind tree, and creating holy ash in his hand.

One of his strongest messages then was to surrender completely to him, that he would take over his followers’ worries and fears.

According to Baba, surrender means not having expectations, not being upset if the outcome of events is different than anticipated. He says he can only help when an individual completely entrusts him or herself to him totally.

Baba says energy passes from him to devotees in his presence, and that whatever his eyes see will be vitalised.

In the meeting hall, I am five rows away from Sathya Sai Baba and cannot pass him the letter I am carrying for a Malaysian devotee – but Baba stares at me and then at the letter I am holding, and, somehow, I feel that he knows its contents.

Baba does not perform any miracles that day but some of his devotees experience visions and say they feel a sensation of relief and contentment in his presence.

I feel lighter and almost blissful after the two hour session in Sathya Sai Baba’s company.

Many who arrive there come “expecting” but return “accepting” the true purpose of life and of the power of love and compassion.

There is never a dull moment with Sai Baba

There is never a dull moment with Sai Baba

Venkat Raman

I have often heard some people say that they visit Sri Satya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh) or Whitefield (near Bangalore) expecting him to materialise a gold chain, a wristwatch or at least vibhuthi (sacred ash).

Baba rarely obliges them.

For, his objective is to draw people into a world of piety, chastity, righteousness and good behaviour, and not to show them ‘miracles.’

“Then why do you do it?” I used to ask him.

“One day you would be writing impressive headlines to draw the attention of people to read your stories,” he prophesied.

“Why are there rewards for achievers?” he said, hoping that I would understand the import of his thoughts.

I have had the honour and privilege of knowing Baba since I was a teenager and learnt from him about life in all its vicissitudes over countless meetings and discussions.

I have also met people who used to arrive at the ‘Prashanti Nilayam’ in Puttaparthi just to have a glimpse of their favourite Bhagawan (God).

I distinctly remember a great writer and editor of a magazine telling Sathya Sai Baba 30 years ago, “I Want Peace.”

Lofty, meaningful goals
Instant came the reply, “Remove I (ego) and Want (desire) and you will have Peace.” Then turning to me, he said, “Just like all the wealth that one has, just like what you call, ‘miracles,’ everything is illusion. What is ultimate is the truth – of who you are and what you do.”

Sathya Sai Baba also used to tell me time and again, “Do not just to strive to raise your Standard of Living. You should lift the your Standard of Life. The former is material but the latter is eternal.”

My career has taken me to many countries around the world, I have spent more years living elsewhere than in the land of my birth, but I have never lost touch with the Greatest Teacher that I have ever had in life.

I also remember many world leaders, celebrities and people who you read about in newspapers or watch on television preferring to wait along with the crowd, rather than seek a special audience (not that he would always oblige) with Baba.

“Everyone is important for Baba and everyone is equal before my eyes,” he would say and then invite the least expected person and his family for a special meeting.

“Every person aspires for happiness and peace without understanding nature. While we are all a part of nature, why should we differentiate between each other in terms of wealth, community and religion? Though there are many determined men, no one knows the goal of life,” he said, speaking on his birthday recently.

Great social worker
Sathya Sai Baba’s Birthday (November 23) has always been a special occasion for me since my formative years. I would be excited to see a few hundred people (compared to tens of thousands today) come together to sing in his praise and do voluntary work.

Sathya Sai Baba is a great social worker.

From building roads and bridges to bringing potable water to the poor people in villages, he has achieved more than what any government anywhere could claim to have done in years.

Education has always been his passion.

“Look at those innocent faces,” he would say, showing me some photographs or pointing to children in an assembly, “they are so impressionable and therefore it is important that they are shaped well. Education without character is useless. It is like chanting a mantra without either understanding its meaning or concentrating on God. We should not let our children go astray.”

The educational institutions that he has built or funded are all today citadels of understanding and appreciating the larger aspects of life, rather than rote learning of arts and science subjects. Students are taught qualitative aspects of life and emerge from these schools and colleges as fine young men and women, without being addicted to alcohol, drugs or cigarettes.

An inimitable Avatar
Those were days of intense curiosity as well. I used to hear from ‘Kasturi Kaka’ that Satya Sai Baba is an Avatar and an actual incarnation of the full power of Divinity, of the Godhead.

The birth of Sathya Sai was an auspicious event, which has not occurred for more than 5000 years. In another major Age of Mankind, Baba was Lord Krishna, he would say.

Baba says that that divine essence has come again, as the prophets have foretold, to guide and uplift Mankind at this critical time in human history.

It is a historical fact that Divinity appears amongst us in order to remind us of our divinity.

“I know who I am. I have come to help you to realise who you are. You are no less. All of us are God Incarnate,” Baba has said on many occasions.

The Bhagavan, the Supreme Being, the Social Worker, the Doctor who cures all ailments and above all, the World’s Greatest Teacher is a class to Himself, attracting people of all religious faiths, income groups and nationalities into his fold. Whether he is an Avatar or not may be a subject of debate but the former is gaining ground.

On the occasion of his Birthday on November 23, Indian Newslink offers its salutations to Sathya Sai Baba on behalf of millions of his devotees all over the world.

FUJIFILM’s Photo Archiving & Communications System (PACS) revolutionizes medical imaging

FUJIFILM’s Photo Archiving & Communications System (PACS) revolutionizes medical imaging
Submitted by editor on November 9, 2009 – 20:00

FUJIFILM India Pvt. Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, one of the largest medical systems company in the world, today announced that it has won the much coveted 2009 India excellence in Healthcare Award instituted by Frost & Sullivan. FUJIFILM was declared as the best multinational PACS Company of the year. FUJIFILM India also announced that it has bagged orders from 10 hospitals across the country for its revolutionary SYNAPSE brand of PACS system.

Large hospitals where SYNAPSE PACS has been implemented successfully include names of repute like Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Bangalore, Karnataka; Sagar Hospitals, Bangalore, Karnataka; Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh; Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), Delhi; Primus Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi; Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Center, Delhi; and Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

According to Mr. Kenichi Tanaka, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, “The success of SYNAPSE PACS further exemplifies FUJIFILM Corporation’s long term commitment in the healthcare arena. Buoyed by the response, we intend to launch new products & solutions such as Digital Radiography, FFDM, and 3D Image processing SW etc., into the Indian market in the days to come.”

“Medical images can be stored electronically and viewed on screens, so that doctors and other health professionals can access the information and compare it with previous images at the touch of a button. These images can be shared between health professionals across locations over an advanced communications system. It circumvents the delays & cancellations because of patient’s images not being available, lost or misplaced during transit, deterioration in quality over time etc.,” elucidates Mr. Suhas Pokale, Country General Manager, FUJIFILM India Pvt. Ltd.

For the past 100 years, film has been almost the exclusive medium for capturing, storing, and displaying radiographic images but it is a fixed medium with usually only one set of images available. FUJIFILM’s PACS technology allows for a near filmless process, with all of the flexibility of digital systems. It also eliminates all costs associated with hard film and releases valuable space currently used for storage.

For patients as well as the radiographer, even the amount of exposure to radiation gets reduced because fewer images need to be repeated using this technology. What’s more, patients do not have to wait for long for results which also ensures speedier move to the next point of treatment or discharge. Privacy is guaranteed as access to patient’s digital images is rights-based i.e. what they’ll be able to see shall depend on their role and involvement in patient’s care. For example, a consultant will be able to look at a patient’s digital images because they are a clinical care provider, whereas a receptionist may not be able to view clinical information. The images are stored in highly secure database systems.

Since the images are digital in nature, they are more reliable. Unlike film, there are no black spots on images due to bad light. FUJIFILM’s SYNAPSE PACS allows for flexible viewing with the ability to manipulate images on screen enabling better analysis. Moreover, instant access to historic images and patient records facilitates comparison of images (old and new) and thus the measuring of the effectiveness of treatment or the development of patient’s condition.

As a result of electronic requesting, radiographers have all the necessary information available to them in digitalized format. As a result, investigation is appropriate to the request and safer for the patient – misinterpretation of what is handwritten has become a thing of the past. Information only needs to be entered into the system once. This reduces some of the administrative tasks currently undertaken by radiographers, thereby freeing up time to focus on caring for the patient. The ability to manipulate images once they are taken means that radiographers can zoom in on areas of interest to ensure adequate information has been captured, which can then be passed on to the relevant clinician.

Besides, FUJIFILM’s SYNAPSE PACS contributes to a better working environment, as the lack of film processing will result in a quieter and chemical free workspace. Health and safety issues arising out of chemical processing get addressed automatically. It has been observed that patients feel more engaged and better informed when they can see their images on screen, leading to better quality consultations between them and the doctor. Not to forget the fact that PACS frees up valuable space within a hospital as storage rooms will no longer be needed for films. For the hospital, it results in substantial savings as patients are processed more quickly with fewer delays and cost of film and processing chemicals comes down to zero.

Sathya Sai Baba

Sathya Sai Baba

Satyopanishad – Upanishad Of Sri Sathya Sai – Part 8
Anil Kumar Kamaraju Questions Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! We don’t understand what wisdom actually is. Isn’t the knowledge we gain in our educational institutions wisdom? If not, how are we to acquire it easily?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: Practical knowledge is jnanam, or wisdom. It is not textual information. Feeling the presence of God always, everywhere, within, and around is jnanam, true wisdom.

Question) Anil Kumar: Bhagawan! Should we follow any discipline or regulation in our food habits? Is that necessary for our spiritual pursuit? Sai devotees all over the world are vegetarians because of your teachings. This is amazing. We have none today to tell us matters relating to our food habits. Kindly direct us.

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba:

As is the food, so is the Mind.
As is the mind, so are our Thoughts.
As is the thought, so is the Action.
As is the action, so is the Result.

Therefore, the result depends on the food you eat. Meticulously and unerringly, you should follow discipline in your food habits. Food, Head, and God are to be viewed in this sequence. As is your food so is your head, as is the condition of your head, so is the manifestation of God in you.

You should not eat too much. You eat to live and never live to eat. Eating in excess is a tamasika quality. If you eat once a day, you are a yogi, if you eat twice a day you are a rogi, sick. If you take sattvika, soft, and balanced food, in moderate quantity, you develop sattvika or pious mind. If you eat rajasika, spicy, hot, food, you will have rajasika or emotional, agitated mind, and if you have tamasika food, meat, alcohol, etc., you will have tamasika or bestial, dull, passive mind. So, it is food that shapes the mind and on this your actions depend, leading to their corresponding consequences.

You should also think of patrasuddhi, cleanness of the vessels and utensils used, padarthasuddhi, purity of the materials, pakasuddhi clean method of preparation or cooking and bhavasuddhi, purity of the thought of the person who cooks the food. You shouldn’t eat food offered to you everywhere.

A few years ago; there lived a sanyasi, who, on invitation, dined at the residence of a businessman. That night this sanyasi, a celibate and spiritual seeker, could not sleep. Somehow, he fell asleep very late, and had a dream in which he saw a sixteen year old girl shedding tears. Then, this sanyasi went to his guru and told him about the dream. The guru meditated for some time and told him the reason behind the dream. The day on which the businessman invited him for dinner happened to be the eleventh day after the death of his sixteen year old wife and he was performing special rites traditionally. Since the sanyasi ate the food cooked for the occasion, the girl who had died appeared in the dream with tears in her eyes. The young girl’s father was very poor and could hardly maintain his family. So, much against her wish, he gave her in marriage to this aged businessman. Out of frustration, she committed suicide by jumping into a well. The businessman had to perform her customary funeral rites and while doing so on the eleventh day, he requested the sanyasi to come over to his house for meals. This is the whole story behind the sanyasi’s dream. So, without discrimination, you shouldn’t eat any food offered to you.

A similar thing happened once to a disciple of Swami Nityananda. One day he went out of the ashram and ate food outside. While returning, he stole from a house a silver tumbler and brought it to the ashram. But soon, he felt very sad over his miserable plight, as he had resorted to a crime like stealing a silver tumbler. He cried and repented. The next morning, he went to his guru and confessed the whole thing. Because of his spiritual power, Nityananda could find out the reason. He said to his disciple, “Well, the food you had outside the asram was prepared by a cook who at one time happened to be a thief and as a result you developed the instinct to steal.” Therefore, cooks must have purity of thought.

Further, you should feel your body as light after eating as before eating. The best thing is to keep half of your stomach empty. The remaining half should be filled in with water and other foodstuffs. Tubers are not good for the body. You should not drink whole milk. You should mix some water in your milk and then drink it. You should have a minimum interval of four hours between two meals. You should take food, which gives you enough calories needed for the body. You shouldn’t have too much of oily and fried curries. Sleep a while after lunch, and walk a mile after dinner. You should work hard and eat well.

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! In your organisation or your institutions, workers, students, teachers, devotees and doctors wear white dress always. Why? What is the reason?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: White dress symbolises purity and cleanliness. A pure white cloth may be compared to a clean mirror. If dust gathers on the mirror, you will not be able to see your reflection clearly. Similarly, buddhi, intellect, is like a clean white cloth. It is only then that you will be able to find out your own faults and apply your discrimination to rectify them. Today, this is not happening. People are able to see clearly the mistakes of others and don’t find their own faults. If you stand in front of your mirror, you see your reflection. But, if you turn the mirror, towards the other man, naturally you find his reflection. Isn’t it so? Similarly, the mirror of your buddhi or intellect is turned towards others, and this makes you see the mistakes of others.

Even the slightest spot or mark is very clearly visible on a white dress. If you wear coloured dress, you don’t see dirt, dots, spots, marks or stains and so on. This is wrong. You should never hide and cover the dirt on your person. You should immediately clean and wash it off. You should share the good with others. Neither good nor bad should be in you. You should shed the bad in you and share the good with others. But some of you keep the good to yourselves and distribute the bad to others. It is a mistake on your part to do so.

Lord Siva offers you the best way by setting forth an ideal to this world. He kept and retained poison in His throat. So, He is nilakantha , the bluethroated God. But, the cool and comforting moonlight from the moon over His head is distributed to others. It is for this purpose of sharing comfort with others that He kept the moon on His head.

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! Today Sai devotees are spread all over the world. They range from Heads of Governments to ordinary citizens. As your devotees, they enjoy special respect and esteem in society. What is the key to this?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: Naturally so! This is the effect of the company you are in. Even the string that passes through and binds the flowers in a garland acquires a value. The rat as the vehicle of Lord Ganesh is also worshipped. The bull as the vehicle of Lord Siva is respected. Likewise, all the vehicles of all our deities are worshipped.

Once Lord Vishnu sent a message to Siva through his vehicle, Garuda, the eagle. As Garuda was flying fast with the message and was about to land near Siva, due to a severe wind there, the dust rose up as in a dust storm. Watching this, the snakes adorning the neck of Siva started hissing at Garuda ready to bite him. Then Garuda replied to the snakes, “You are with Siva, so you are hissing at me thus fearlessly. You come off of Lord Shiva and see what will happen to you! I can finish you off in no time”. In the same manner, since you are with me, you are respected and served. If you are away from me, you will be put to infamy and humiliation.

You should not run after all silly worldly things, like the common flies that land on anything and everything. Like honeybees you should only draw honey from flowers. Look at the person who drives the car of the President of India. He can never act as a common taxi driver. Similarly, those who sing the glory of God shouldn’t run after people for petty favours.

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! We visit temples religiously. We go on pilgrimage once in a while. We continue to do our rituals and religious acts. But there is no cognisable change in our life pattern. Why is this so, Swami?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: Worship, penance, meditation, bhajan, etc., are sacred activities that make your life meaningful, purposeful and useful. But you can’t brand them as spiritual. All these are good actions and help you to spend time in a sacred way. Anything that you do with your mind (ego, ‘I ness’) can’t be spiritual. The true spiritual path is atmavicara , self-enquiry.

The seeker should know that he is not the deha, body, the manas, mind, or the buddhi, intellect and that his atma, true self, is beyond time and space. The self is not a ndma, name, or a rupa, form with which it is identified in this transient world. Atma is eternal, pure and nondual. True spirituality is the awareness of atma. This is Brahman, the divinity which is spread all over in all creatures according to the scripture which says eko vasi sarvabhutantaratma. True spirituality alone can make you experience this awareness. But you find many forms of religious practice in the name of spirituality. The prasadam or sacrificial food offered to God is actually eaten by the devotees. They just show it to a picture or an image of God and the whole lot of it is eaten by them only (cupulu and mepulu, in Telugu). If God really starts taking anything offered to Him, I am sure, no one would offer Him anything.

Always remember that tyaga, sacrifice, is the highest and the best form of sadhana. You have to sacrifice your time, money, resources and energy. You should at least offer a tulasi leaf to God in worship. So, tyagenaike amr tatvamanasuh. Sacrifice makes you attain immortality. Tyaga is yoga, spiritual exercise.

Love expresses itself as sacrifice. Love without sacrifice is meaningless and totally selfish. You have to sacrifice the body feeling or attachment to the body. You have to sacrifice your wicked thoughts and bad feelings. Sacrifice is your true nature. Sacrifice is a divine quality gifted to man. In fact, you are not doing anything great and special by sacrifice. You are doing it for your own self.

A yogi noticed a cow struggling for life in a river. He went and rescued it. Someone asked him, “Why did you save the cow?” The yogi replied, “I saved the cow for my, own happiness. I couldn’t see the cow struggling and suffering.” Many might have passed that way and noticed the cow in its miserable plight But none did a thing to save it. Therefore, sacrifice is an opportunity given to man.

There is another small story. A householder one day wanted to serve food to a Brahmin as part of a ritual he was performing. He could get one poor old Brahmin who agreed to dine at his house. The Brahmin came and hurriedly started eating the food placed before him. The householder felt like this: “What a Brahmin is he? He didn’t even take his bath and do any puja before taking the food. It is not punya, meritorious to feed such a man”. He grew so angry with the old Brahmin that he beat him with a stick and drove him out holding him tight at the neck. On that day when the householder was asleep, he had a dream in which God appeared and said to him “Why did you invite the old Brahmin for food and beat him? Why did you turn him out wringing his neck? After all, you could not feed him even for one day while I have been giving him food all these eighty years! What a shame!”

Tyaga is above any restrictions and stipulations. A mother is ready to sacrifice her life for her child. Why? It is only love that makes her sacrifice. Trees sacrifice fruits so that you may eat them. No tree takes its own fruits. Rivers flow and sacrifice water to quench your thirst. The cow yields milk and sacrifices it for all of you to drink and nurture your body. Your body too is intended for sacrifice, paropakarardhamidam s’ariram.

Worship, bhajan and such other external activities are less than seva and sacrifice. The hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray. Love of God is devotion, which has to be expressed as sacrifice. Love is sacrifice. Sacrifice is prema yoga, the path of love to God. Sacrifice is yoga. Be that this faith, devotion and steadfastness would get, strengthened and deep rooted. Through the path of jnana, which is self enquiry, proceed to atmavicara , follow and experience God. It is said, jnanadeva to kaivalyam, the practical wisdom obtained from tyaga is the only way to kaivalyam, liberation. This is a process beyond the mind and the activity performed by the body. Then only will you achieve the expected results and attain ananda.

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! Why do we differ? Why does our behaviour vary? What is the root cause behind these differences? How are we to cultivate ideal and good ways in life?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: Since you have not studied and understood human nature wholly, you get this doubt. Man is a combination of three main qualities, demonic, bestial and human. It is the human quality that helps you to attain divinity.

You take, for example, an orange fruit. In it there are an outer bitter skin, hard seeds and soft juicy pulp. So also a human being has a demonic nature like the outer bitter skin of an orange, bestial temperament like the hard seeds; and finally the human values like the soft juicy pulp. Take for example a ripe tamarind fruit. Its outer skin is the bestial nature, its hard seeds symbolise demonic nature while its soft pulp is the human behaviour. If the pulp joins the seed, i.e., if human nature is in association with demonic behaviour, it expresses itself like a demon. If the soft pulp associates itself with the outer skin, i.e. if human nature joins bestial behaviour, it manifests itself as a beast.

So, more or less, this depends on the association, be it demonic or bestial. This is the root cause of all the differences. But it is human value that makes you ideal and enables you to experience divinity. There lies the sweetness and purpose of life.

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! Is it necessary for us to observe austerity and follow discipline only inside an asram or in the society outside as well?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: I suggest that you follow discipline and lead a simple life wherever you live. You may go to any place, but there also you should always follow niyama, discipline, have sraddha, sincerity, and take to sadhana, spiritual practice. This is the spiritual way of life.

Out of two sick persons, one may be treated as an out-patient and the other may be admitted to a hospital depending on the ailment. But, both should necessarily take medicine for a cure, shouldn’t they? Similarly, you may reside in an asram or outside: But you should definitely follow discipline, be simple, and lead a spiritual life. As individuals caught in the cycle of birth and death, bhava roga, you need to take the medicine of sadhana.

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! Some people pose challenges quite unwarranted. Pious and noble people are disturbed and agitated in such situations? What should we do with those who challenge us unnecessarily?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: Only egoistic, jealous people with bodily attachment challenge like this. Aspirants and seekers should not be disturbed by these challenges. You should not react to their words and be affected thereby. A cow that grazes in a field may challenge another cow. A pig that feeds on faeces can challenge another pig. Should man who takes food challenge a pig? You can talk to an equal but not to everyone. Don’t respond to everyone and then lose your peace. In fact, you should face a challenge if you must, in this way, “Do you help everyone as I do? Have you taken up welfare programmes as I have done? Are you broadminded like me? How many people have you transformed into the righteous way of life?” People should have healthy competition. You should not challenge for petty, low, mean things.

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! We are engrossed in worldly, problems and responsibilities. We get deeply involved in selfcentred activities. Yet, we pray to God. In a sense, our minds are fully occupied with mundane thoughts. What is to be done?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: The Mahabharata explains this aspect clearly. The righteous Pandavas, the five brothers who spent their time in exile never lost their devotion. Everything in life depends on priorities. They kept God first, others next and they considered themselves the last. Therefore, they were successful and are remembered till this day. On the contrary, for the Kauravas, their cousins, their priorities were different. They kept their comfort and selfish interests in the first place, others next and God last. What happened? They lost the battle and got a bad name. Since they placed God last in their priorities, they ‘lost’ the battle. If you have God with you, you don’t need to worry. You will be successful in all fields. After all, in this world nothing is permanent. All are passing clouds. Not even one is permanent. Know that whatever happens in life, it is for your own good.

A human being walks on his two legs. So he is erect, unlike the fourlegged animals: After marriage, man loses some of his freedom with increasing responsibility and becomes “four-legged” and his walking pace slows down. With a child born to him he has “six legs” like those of a scorpion, and with another child he turns eight leggs like a cockroach and his movement further slows down. All this bondage and attachment is of your own making. No one made it for you.

In spite of all your riches and positions, remember that true happiness lies in the company of and nearness to God. You may keep a fish in a gem studded golden vessel; it will never feel comfortable there. It freely swims only in water. Bliss lies in your true self. The rest, however valuable it is, leads only to unhappiness.

A simple example for you, here is a glass with water, and sugar at the bottom. If you taste the water on the top, it is tasteless and the water in the middle of the glass is equally tasteless. But, get a spoon, stir the water in the bottom well until the sugar gets totally dissolved in the water. Now you taste it, either at the top or in the middle of the glass, the water is sweet. So also in your life, the glass is your body, water is your life, the spoon is your intellect and sugar is ‘divinity’. If you exercise your intellect in the right direction, you will experience the sweetness of divinity everywhere. What you need are peace and happiness. You should pray to God for these two essentials. You worship Him and serve Him. You aspire to be happy and peaceful, no doubt. But, your prayers to God are for worldly possessions. So, aspirations and prayers are at variance with each other. This is your weakness.

Question) Anil Kumar: Swami! Today, Sai’s glory has brought almost everybody from all parts of the world to your feet. People from many countries, whose names we had never heard before, are coming to you. People of almost all linguistic groups of the world are here. We have representation from all walks of life. It is unfortunate that we, who have been here with you, find ourselves less devoted to you than your overseas devotees. We see them practice your teachings with much more sincerity of heart than us! Why is this happening?

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: The experiences of the devotees depend on their sincerity, steadfastness, devotion and faith. Nearness in one way is responsible for not realising the actual value of Divinity. Don’t you find a shadow under a lamp? Similar is the case here. As the light of the Avatar spreads everywhere, there is shadow underneath the light. You also know that honeybees come from a distance to suck the honey out of the lotus flower, while frogs, snails and fishes so near the lotus flower do not know the taste of honey. The same thing happens when God incarnates in human form. People who are very near Him will not to be able to realise His divine splendour.

When you hear of a mango fruit, you feel like eating it. But when you go to a market and see fruits there, you take a fruit close to your nose and start smelling it. Why? You doubt if it is a ripe fruit or not. The very mention of the name of the fruit made you long for it. But when you near it, you doubt. Isn’t it so? Why go for such a far fetched simile? Well, you speak ecstatically to everyone saying that Baba appeared in your dreams and that you experienced His presence at your place. But, when you are in the immediate presence of Baba, you are not even thrilled and excited. You, people who are so near me, don’t know the tremendous and magnificent experiences of devotees all over the world and their magnitude. A frog in a well cannot know the outer world, you see!

It is not the length of time or the number of years you are with Swami that matters! Bus drivers come here and go from here daily. What experience do they have? You may keep an iron ball in a water tank for any length of time. What happens? Absolutely it undergoes no change in any way! Just as darkness is dispelled by a flash of light, the darkness of ignorance should be dispelled by the light of wisdom.

If you have full faith and love for Swami, you will follow His teachings. You find a spectacular transformation in the life of umpteen number of people everywhere. Why? It is because of their implicit faith in the teachings of Swami. I don’t send invitations to anybody to come over here. There are no welcome boards nor do I say goodbye to anyone. But people come in large numbers everyday. Why? This is the love of Divinity that attracts and draws people to this Prasanti Nilayam.

It is only God whom you respect, love and worship. You respect your boss, administrators; elders, etc. You love your parents, family, and friends. All the same, you don’t worship your officers nor do you worship the members of your family. Isn’t it so? But you respect, love and worship God only.

Upanishad means the “inner” or “mystic teaching”. The term Upanishad is derived from “upa” (near), “ni” (down) and “shad” (to sit), i.e., sitting down near. Groups of pupils sit near the teacher to learn from him/her the secret doctrine. In the quietude of the forest hermitages the Upanishadic thinkers pondered on the problems of deepest concerns and communicated their knowledge to fit pupils near them. The most well known Upanishads are: Aitareya, Brihadaranyaka, Taittiriya, Chandogya, Kena, Isa, Svetasvatara, Katha, Mundaka, Mandukya, Prasna, Kausitaki, Maitrayani, Kausitaki, Muktika and Shakta. The Satyopanishad is the Upanishad of Truth (Sathya) but more specifically the Truth as revealed by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Anil Kumar questions the illustrious Guru and provides us with Sathya Sai Baba’s answers to ponder, ruminate and derive ananda.

Three Official Wikipedia Administrators Fail Psychic Test

Three Official Wikipedia Administrators Fail Psychic Test

Gerald Joe Moreno (a Pro-Sathya Sai Baba activist) formerly edited on Wikipedia under the nic “SSS108″ and was “blocked indefinitely” for exposing a sockpuppet used by Wikipedia Administrator Mel Etitis.

On October 13th 2009, Moreno was contacted through his website by a person named “Scott” (a person unknown to Moreno) who informed Moreno that no less than three official Wikipedia Administrators supported banning Scott from editing because Scott was accused of being a sockpuppet for “SSS108″ (Moreno’s Wikipedia nic). After viewing the talk page for Sbs108, Moreno was thoroughly shocked to discover this fraudulent information published against him by three Wikipedia Administrators. After a gap of two and half years, Moreno was forced to return to Wikipedia and he posted the following comment on his talk page:

I Am Not Sbs108
It has come to my attention that some administrators have ridiculously accused me of being Sbs108. I am NOT Sbs108 and the arguments made by admin that I am are wholly absurd. I was banned for exposing Mel Etitis and his Wikipedia Sockpuppet. If you look at that page, I provided a screencap that shows my IP. If you compare that IP with my IP here, you will find they are the same and they not anonymous or proxy IPs. I think it is really quite pathetic that I have to be pulled back on to Wikipedia to defend myself from stupid rumors started by conspiratorial admin who apparently have nothing better to do than play psychic instead of assuming good faith like they are supposed to do. Practice what you preach, Admin! SSS108 talk-email 05:53, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

No matter how much information Scott (i.e., “Sbs108″) gave about himself, he was constantly accused of being Moreno and Wikipedia Administrators Jéské Couriano and Hersfold even implied a “Check User” was implemented to confirm “Sbs108″ (Scott) was “SSS108″ (Moreno)!

Since there are no Wikipedia templates to address this type of blatant disinformation, Moreno created another account “SSS108b”, which for some reason did not work. Moreno apparently refreshed the page and didn’t realize the registration went through and it said the account was taken. Therefore, Moreno created another account “PSSS108″ and made comments on Wikipedia Administrators Hersfold, Jéské Couriano and Jzg’s talk pages. Moreno promptly divulged that he used the new account of “PSSS108″ on his SSS108 talk page. Moreno’s comments were disregarded and the new account of “PSSS108″ was promptly blocked by Wikipedia Admin Jzg. “Sbs108″ was accused by Wikipedia Admin Hersfold of using Moreno’s new account of “PSSS108″!

Moreno used the “helpme” Wikipedia template and a user named “Intelligentsium” simply told him “There is no cabal.”

Moreno finally found an email to Wikipedia Admin and informed them that if they did not retract the fraudulent information fraudulently published against him on Wikipedia by three official Wikipedia Administrators, he would be forced to contact a lawyer. A prompt investigation was conducted and Moreno published the findings on his talk page:

Cleared Of Sbs108 Sockpuppet Claim
To all interested readers: I have been CLEARED of the patently absurd and conspiratorial assumptions & speculations made by Hersfold, Crotalus horridus, Jéské Couriano and Jzg / Guy who spuriously and unremittingly alleged I was using the sockpuppet of Sbs108.

SSS108 talk-email 06:21, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

False Sockpuppetry Claim

False Sockpuppetry Claim

Instead of relying on factual information, three official Wikipedia Administrators relied on their intuitions and decided to play psychic detectives. In the end, Wikipedia Admin Jzg, Wikipedia Admin Hersfold and Wikipedia Admin Jéské Couriano had to eat their words. These are the types of conspiratorial Admin running and controlling the content on Wikipedia.

If this happens with the Administration on Wikipedia, how much more must it be happening with all the unregulated POV pushers who use Wikipedia as a forum to advance their biases, hatred and subjective opinions (just as they did —and continue to do— on the Sathya Sai Baba Wikipedia Article)?

Prithvi Datta, of Castlefields, Runcorn, visits Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh, in India, to promote green energy

Prithvi Datta, of Castlefields, Runcorn, visits Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh, in India, to promote green energy
Oct 29 2009 by Oliver Clay, Runcorn and Widnes Weekly News

AN INVENTOR from Runcorn has visited an Indian holy site to promote his green ideas to businessmen.

Last week Prithvi Datta, a retired refrigeration engineer from Castlefields, and his son arrived in Prasanthi Nilayam – a remote village in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, to gather support for his carbon-cutting ideas.

While in the holy village, also known as Place of Peace, Mr Datta will propose a ‘solar dome’ invention to a team of social entrepreneurs from around the world.

Mr Datta, who tests some of his inventions at his son’s Xpress laundry business in Widnes, said his Evergreen Model 18 Regenerative Energy System combines solar, greenhouse and chimney effects.

Mr Datta hopes private and public bodies will back the project and a working prototype near Prasanthi Nilayam.

He said the solar dome is more efficient and affordable than wind turbines or solar panels used alone.

He said that with patents in place, he hopes the technology will be exported around the world.

The trip to the holy village kicks off a five month tour for Mr Datta.

The majority of the tour will be spent in India, where he is advising the West Bengal Regeneration Energy Development Agency on green energy. He will also visit Canada.

Mr Datta said:

“With blessing from Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the proposed dome will offer nine to 18 kilowatts of usable regenerative electrical power for a longer part of the year, than individual solar or wind turbine system.

With Sathya Sai Baba’s Grace a great reduction in carbon emissions and burning fossil fuels will be possible when the power is not used from the national grid or standby generators.

My family are happy that I am able to make a small contribution to others and the environment.”

Centrum Joga Harmonia Poznan Website Defends Sai Baba Critic Conny Folke Eugen Larsson

In 2005, Gerald Joe Moreno received the following emails from Sebastian Zimnicki from Poland who used the anonymous name “Ramana”. Sebastian Zimnicki claimed that Psychic Medium Conny Larsson (a caustic critic and ex-devotee of Sathya Sai Baba) attempted to bribe him and his twin brother (Tomasz) with money to spread false sexual abuse allegations against Sathya Sai Baba:

Hi

I sent to you few weeks ago email and I dont have time to replay you, Im sorry. Now Im again In Poland so I have time to write. I wanna share with you about Conny Larsson, well I knew him very well, I and my brother used it organizeted for Conny Larsson teaching meditation courses in whole Poland for Sai Devotees. So This was during 1997 till 1999. We were very close friends with Conny, To make this story short I want inform you that Conny is good actor and he tell all time untruth storys about his interviews, when he talked to people about Sai Baba and his interviews he all time tell different storys, he said something diffrent in 1998 and year after he said this same interview diffrent. He lies all time. I belived that Conny had maybe interiviews during 1980 till 83 and since that time he made up other interviews. So he got last interview I think in 1999.In this interview 1999 I belived him because he had witness.

When he came to Poland in September 1999 he said that Baba rape him many times and Baba is fraud. We were shocked, he said that he is now ex baba devotee. Also he wanted forses us to tell that Sai Baba rape even me and my brother! We said Why i should lie? HE replay because this is game, this demon sai baba must bit. HE said- tell people in sai movemnt in poland that sai rape you-,I said NO I will not lie! Conny said I will pay you money only say that sai baba make sex with you. I dont even tell that this was our last meeting with Conny. As you see Conny is.. I dont know little crazy? Also I met Alayer In India 1999.Even in 3 august 1999 we were sitting in same plane (in this same sitts) to Bombay from Putapartii. We were also good friends because he know Conny Larsson very well, Alayer speak about Baba in good way, he all time said that he love Baba etc. BUt when HE came back to USA he spoke with Conny in august 1999 he decided left Baba as Conny do. Maybe Conny paid him like he wanted paid us?

Ramana from Poland

Sorry for my broken english

In response to these two emails, Conny Larsson published a series of emails (which are still located at: saibabaexpose.com/morono.htm) in which the Zimincki Twins blatantly lied about Moreno and claimed intimate friendship and alliance with Conny Larsson.

Fast forward to 2009 and Anna Rykowska-Grzywna (a disciple of Psychic Medium Conny Larsson) wrote an article in which she claimed:

  • The Zimnicki Twins are liars.
  • The Zimnicki Twins came from a “pathological family”.
  • The Zimnicki Twins would do anything for money.
  • The Zimnicki Twins cheated Conny Larsson out of money.
  • The Zimnicki Twins slandered Conny Larsson when he stopped giving them money

Anna Rykowska-Grzywna: “In the last leaflet which was forwarded to me by a gentleman from Szczecin I read about twins brothers – Tomasz and Sebastian Zimnicki, who live in GoleniÓw near Szczecin. The afore said gentlemen were allegedly paid by Conny Larsson to claim that they were sexually harassed by Sai Baba. I happen to know the two gentlemen well and I know that they can make up any story for whoever pays them. The author of the leaflet described in his own imaginary way in detail the whole life of Conny Larsson. He did not give his name but he did give my address as the headquarters of Conny Larsson’s sect in Poland. The author says in the leaflet that the twins came back contrite to Sai Baba in 2003 and begged him for forgiveness they allegedly received. Well, I wish to advise the anonymous author that in 2005 the twins came to Kamieñ Pomorski, where together with Conny Larsson we taught at a teacher training course for the whole of July, and also asked him for forgiveness. They even offered their help in publishing his book in Poland and they set up his internet site, which they then destroyed claiming that it was done by the Sai organisation. In 2006 they also came to Poznañ for Conny Larsson’s meditation courses. The twin brothers come from a pathological family and Conny Larsson took care of them when they were starving. They got so used to cheating him out of his money that they started slandering him when he stopped giving it to them.” (Reference)

Since Anna Rykowska-Grzywna claimed the Zimnicki Twins would do anything for money, did Conny Larsson pay the Zimnicki Twins to lie about Moreno?

Anna Rykowska-Grzywna would not have published her criticism of the Zimnicki Twins had she not obtained the cooperation and consent of Conny Larsson (who even supplied her with a scanned copy of his criminal report and an official translation of his criminal report into Polish by a court reporter).

Conny Larsson told Anna Rykowska-Grzywna that the Zimnicki Twins cheated him out of money and slandered him after he stopped giving them money (dubious claims considering that Conny Larrson never took any sort of legal action against the Zimnicki Twins). Therefore, it is a self-admitted and irrefutable fact that Conny Larsson had a monetary relationship with the Zimnicki Twins. It is not far-fetched that Conny Larsson may have offered the Zimnicki Twins money to make false sexual abuse allegations against Sathya Sai Baba.

The fact remains that Sebastian Zimnicki relayed the bribery allegation to Moreno freely and anonymously and didn’t realize that Moreno could trace his anonymous email to him. Therefore, the sexual abuse bribery claim made against Conny Larsson by Sebastian Zimnicki appears to be rooted in fact because Conny Larsson is now attempting to do damage control by attacking the Zimnicki Twins through his disciple Anna Rykowska-Grzywna. Shocking!

The former “friendly” email correspondence that Conny Larsson published from the Zimnicki Twins on his official saibabaexpose.com domain is therefore fraudulent. The truth has finally come out!

Anna Rykowska-Grzywna & The Paedophilia Allegations Against Conny Larsson

According to Anna Rykowska-Grzywna, Conny Larson (who is openly and proudly bi-sexual) is widely being attacked as a “paedophile”. As Ex-Devotees are so fond of saying, “there’s no smoke without fire”. It does not matter that Conny Larsson defended himself against the paedophilia allegations by releasing a police background check showing he has no convictions. Sathya Sai Baba has no convictions either. If Conny Larsson alleges that Sathya Sai Baba is a “paedophile” (although the Guru has no convictions), then it is most certainly possible that Conny Larsson is also a “paedophile” (although Larsson has no convictions)! Conny Larsson’s illogic and shabby arguments come back to bite him.

Conny Folke Eugen Larsson & Anna Rykowska-Grzywna – In Conclusion

In conclusion, it can be presumed that Conny Larsson is just as guilty as Sathya Sai Baba despite the absence of any official, legal documentation to support the accusations made against either of them. Conny Larsson set the standard of “presumed guilty without legal documentation” against Sathya Sai Baba and now Conny Larsson has to suffer the perception of alleged impropriety on the same grounds!

The facts that Conny Larsson admitted to psychic fraud, attempted to cover up and suppress the fact that he is a self-professed prophet and trance channel for Vyasa (with the help of his devotee Judith Bourque), published fraudulent screencaps against Moreno, maliciously accused Moreno of using anonymous IPs by resorting to IP header fraud and admitted to being diagnosed by a psychiatrist with Histrionic Personality Disorder raises valid suspicions that Conny Larssson is dishonest, hateful, manipulative and has something to hide.

  1. Conny Larsson remains strongly suspected of attempting to bribe the Ziminicki Twins with money to slander Sathya Sai Baba with false sexual abuse allegations.
  2. Using the very same arguments and standards that Ex-Devotees (including Conny Larsson) employ to accuse Sathya Sai Baba of pedophilia, Conny Larsson could similarly be strongly suspected of alleged pedophilia (as there are several internet rumors making that exact claim).

Conny Larsson is openly and proudly bi-sexual (even releasing this information through Swedish newspapers and on Anti-Baba websites) and conceded that he did in fact have sex with men! Sathya Sai Baba has never (ever) made such an admission. Conny Larsson has therefore solidly situated himself between rocks and a hard place.
