Sathya Sai Baba, Alejandro Agostinelli And The Alleged ‘Argentinian Exposure’
In the year 2000, the skeptic and atheist Alejandro Agostinelli (whose last name has often been misspelled as “Agnostelli”) directed a two-part Azul TV program on Argentinian TV entitled “Sai Baba: A Sinning God?”. The people who participated in the program were:
- Leonardo Gutter
President of the Sathya Sai Organization in Latin America.
- Monica Socolovsky
Founder of the Sathya Sai Organization in Argentina
- Martin Caparros
Journalist. Writer. Author of “Un viaje a la India en busca del Sai Baba” (A Trip to India in Search of Sai the Baba).
- Daniel Zalzman
Practical Speituality Foundation
- Enrique Marquez
Illusionist expert in paranormal fraudulence
- Said Korramshahgol
An ex-devotee and an alleged “victim” who initially saw nothing sexual in what Sathya Sai Baba did to him. Said Korramshahgol changed his views in later years and engaged in highly questionable internet behavior by spamming various forums with Anti-Baba posts thousands of times, sometimes using proxy IPs.
- Conny Larsson
An ex-devotee and an alleged “victim” whose stories about Sathya Sai Baba are highly contradictory and have become increasingly embellished. Amusingly, Conny Larsson is now a self-proclaimed prophet and psychic trance medium for the spirit of Maharshi Vyasa. Conny Larsson’s gutter tactics and pathological lies have been fully exposed on the internet.
- Sharon Purcell
An ex-devotee who stated she believed that Sathya Sai Baba was an “astral demon” because she saw a miracle she could not rationalize or explain away. Sharon Purcell was never abused and never witnessed an incident of alleged abuse.
- Daniel Coifman
Psychologist. Sai Baba devotee for 20 years
- U.S. Rawat
Agregado cultural de la Embajada de la India en la Argentina (Cultural Attache India Embassy, Argentina).
The Argentine journalist Alejandro Agostinelli is a member of ILCAF (International Liaison Committee Of Atheists And Freethinkers), is the editing secretary for Descubrir magazine and an active investigator into UFO-related phenomena. Since Alejandra Agostinelli is an atheist and skeptic, his program against Sathya Sai Baba was heavily weighted and biased in favor of critics and their unsubstantiated, contradictory and unsupported accusations.
Although Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard heavily cited Agostinelli on their Anti-Sai WordPress blogs, it is amusing to note that they both still believe (even after their defection) that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers (Ref).
Even though Priddy & Pittard can often be seen siding with atheists and skeptics (in this case, Agostinelli), they are both fervent believers, supporters and promoters of Psychic Trance Medium Conny Larsson (which laughably argues against their scientific, skeptical and rationalistic posturing). Needless to say, Alejandro Agostinelli believes that psychics and mediums like Conny Larsson are frauds, liars and cheats and it is apparent that Larsson’s psychic claims were purposely withheld from Agostinelli because his program might have taken on a entirely different slant if he knew those facts.
